Role Purpose
The Content Manager is the operational engine behind our global content distribution. Your primary responsibility is to manage complex global content schedules, ensuring every post is aligned with our overarching media plans. You will be responsible for best-in-class social media management, guaranteeing that our high-impact content reaches our global audience at the exact right time, perfectly optimised for each platform.
You will oversee end-to-end scheduling and publishing workflows, coordinating closely with creative and strategy teams to ensure content is delivered accurately, on time, and to the correct channels. Success in this role is defined by consistency, accuracy, and the ability to maintain and improve a seamless global publishing operation at scale.
Key Responsibilities
Global Content Scheduling
Work closely with internal creative and commercial teams, as well as a diverse roster of content creators across the globe. You will act as the central hub for incoming deliverables, ensuring all global creator assets and copy meet the agreed-upon media plan requirements and are received on time before being locked into the schedule.
Best-in-Class Social Media Management
Take ownership of the day-to-day execution of social media distribution.
Act as the final gatekeeper for quality, formatting, tagging, and platform-specific optimisation before content goes live.
Timely Execution & Distribution
Guarantee the flawlessly timed delivery of content, ensuring campaigns and daily posts go out at the exact right time.
Monitor live posting, manage automated scheduling tools, and immediately troubleshoot any platform errors.
Analytics & Reporting:
Truly understand what makes a great post by diving deep into platform data and audience behaviour. Provide clear, comprehensive reporting to senior leadership on market and post performance.
Utilising the data and insights to drive continuous improvement, taking our content strategy and performance further than where we were the day before.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Scheduling Mastery: Exceptional organisational skills with a proven track record of managing complex, high-volume global content calendars.
Social Media Expertise: Deep, hands-on knowledge of major social media platforms, their algorithms, and industry – standard scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Hootsuite, Later).
Attention to Detail: Meticulous accuracy when it comes to dates, times, time zones, and ensuring the right content goes to the right channel.
Collaboration: Strong communication skills to coordinate seamlessly with creative teams and ensure media plans are executed without a hitch.
Organisational Efficiency: A true master of organisation, familiar with project management methodologies and highly proficient in tools like Jira to keep complex, multi-team workflows on track and stakeholders informed.
Remote & Distributed Work Environment: Comfortable operating in a remote, globally distributed team, with the ability to coordinate across time zones, maintain clear asynchronous communication, and stay accountable without direct supervision.
