Role: Project Manager – Commercial & Public Sector Solar PV

Salary: Up to £55,000 + benefits

Location: London/South East England (primarily remote with occasional office time for training)

Type: Full-time | Permanent

MDE Group are working with a leading UK renewable energy organisation to support the growth of their commercial and public sector solar delivery team.

We are looking for a Project Manager with experience in Solar PV or construction to oversee the delivery of multiple installations across the UK, working with a range of clients including councils, universities, and commercial businesses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing communication with clients, internal teams, suppliers, installation teams, and subcontractors
  • Planning and scheduling multiple installations from design through to completion
  • Ensuring all installations meet Health & Safety requirements
  • Managing project costs and ensuring delivery within budget
  • Maintaining accurate project documentation and records
  • Supporting collaboration with project managers, engineers, and account teams

Requirements

  • Experience in project management within Solar PV or a construction environment
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Highly organised with strong time management and ability to work under pressure
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively across technical and delivery teams

Desirable

  • Experience within renewable energy or infrastructure projects
  • Exposure to working with design engineers or technical teams
  • Interest in developing within the renewable energy sector
