Commercial Property Solicitor

Spirehouse are partnered with a well-established, Legal 500, Chambers UK, and Chambers High Net Worth firm who are looking to add a Commercial Property Solicitor to their Plymouth based team. They have a strong reputation for client service, innovation, and community involvement, having been recognised through national and regional awards.

About the role

You’ll manage a varied caseload of commercial property, finance, and securitisation matters, working alongside experienced colleagues and contributing to the continued growth of the department. Responsibilities include:

  • Commercial property matters including security work
  • Finance and securitisation matters
  • Business development activities at firm, departmental, and office level
  • Financial control, including billing and cash flow management
  • Building and maintaining a strong network of clients, referrers, and contacts

About you

Essential:

  • Qualified solicitor (England & Wales) with a minimum 2 years PQE with current commercial property experience
  • Strong research and drafting skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Commercially savvy with a solid understanding of company and commercial work

Desirable:

  • Experience in security work for commercial lenders such as banks and financial institutions
  • Familiarity with LEXCEL or an equivalent practice management standard
  • Demonstrated success in winning new business through referrals and business development
