Lead Dentist / Gloucester, Gloucestershire / Full Time

MBR Dental are currently assisting a dental practice located in Gloucester, Gloucestershire to recruit a Lead Dentist on a permanent basis.

Responsibilities

• Lead Dentist will have clinical freedom.
• Position would involve 1 day per week focused on Urgent Care and 4 days per week supporting UDA delivery.
• In addition the Lead Dentist will be responsible for educational support and mentorship for Foundation Dentists.
• Lead Dentist will be leading an ethical, progressive and collaborative team.
• Predominantly NHS working environment.
• Support from an experienced Nurse and Admin team.
• Lead Dentist role includes educational support and mentorship responsibilities.
• Position would suit an enthusiastic Dentist keen to make a positive impact on clinical pathways, patient experience and practice culture.
• Lead Dentist will be responsible for upholding the practice’s standards and contributing to overall clinical governance.

Offer & Working Arrangements

• Available from June 2026.
• Notice periods are considered.
• Full or part time position – Flexible days and hours.
• Projected earnings of £120,000+ per annum.
• Practice can offer 5000 UDAs at £16 per UDA plus 50% Private.
• £500 per full day for Urgent Care sessions plus an additional Clinical Lead supplement.
• NHS Educational Supervisor payment for supporting Foundation Dentists.
• Golden Hello available (terms apply).
• Position belongs to a not-for-profit organisation.
• Brand new, purpose built practice.

Requirements

• All Dentist`s must be registered with the GDC and hold an active Performer Number.
• An enhanced DBS Certificate will be required on request.

About the Practice & Location

Predominantly NHS working environment with a supportive team including an experienced Nurse and Admin staff. The practice is brand new and purpose built, belonging to a not-for-profit organisation.
