Apply for the Interior Designer – Workplace Revit
Location: London
Job Description:

A confident Middleweight Designer looking to progress their career within a multi-award-winning workplace design studio.

Position

This is a particularly strong opportunity for a Middleweight Designer who feels confident in their ability and is ready to take the next step. The studio offers real scope to quickly develop into a more senior role, with increasing responsibility and ownership.

The role will involve leading and delivering workplace projects from concept through to completion, with a strong focus on design quality, technical resolution and client engagement.

The successful candidate will take ownership of projects, managing design development, coordinating with internal teams and external consultants, and ensuring delivery aligns with both creative intent and commercial requirements.

You will be involved in presentations, design development and detailed drawing production, while maintaining a clear understanding of programme, budget and project constraints. The role requires confidence working across multiple stages of design, with the ability to move seamlessly between concept thinking and technical delivery.

A proactive and hands-on approach is essential, with the expectation to take initiative, solve problems and drive projects forward independently.

Candidate

  • 4+ years’ experience working on design-led workplace projects, including CAT A and CAT B
  • Background in a design or architecture practice
  • Able to take ownership of projects and lead packages through delivery
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Experience across concept, technical stages and site coordination
  • Understanding of space planning, workplace strategy and commercial design
  • Clear and confident communicator, both in presentations and client interactions
  • Comfortable in client-facing situations, able to guide conversations and present ideas
  • Knowledge of materials, finishes and FF&E within workplace environments
  • Organised, with the ability to manage deadlines and priorities
  • Proactive and self-sufficient, able to make decisions and drive work forward
  • Collaborative, working effectively with teams and consultants
  • Personable, bringing energy and a positive presence to the studio
  • A well-curated portfolio demonstrating design thinking, with a considered graphic and visual approach to layout, similar to pitch-style work

Studio

This is a well-regarded design studio known for its collaborative culture and ambitious projects across the commercial workplace sector. The team values designers who are both creative and technically capable, giving them the opportunity to be involved across all stages of a project.

Benefits include:

• 25 days holiday + Christmas closure

• Pension scheme

• Healthcare and wellbeing support

• Cycle to Work scheme

• Weekly studio lunches

• Regular team socials and events
