We’re recruiting a Planner on behalf of one of the UK’s leading residential developers. Based near Swindon, this is a hands-on role sitting within a busy Land team — with real ownership of applications, appeals and strategic land promotion across the Thames Valley region.

The Role

• Prepare and manage planning applications and appeals end-to-end
• Promote strategic land and sites through the Local Plan process
• Advise the land team on planning policy and site appraisals
• Negotiate S106 agreements and liaise with LPA officers and consultants
• Attend Planning Committees and represent the business where required

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in residential planning — in-house or consultancy
• Sound knowledge of the planning application and appeals process in England
• MRTPI qualified or working towards it (MRICS also considered)
• Commercially minded, with strong written and verbal communication skills
