We’re looking for a hands‑on Platform / DevOps Engineer with deep experience running production workloads on Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE). This role is for someone who enjoys building, automating, and operating cloud‑native platforms – not just designing them.
You’ll own Kubernetes infrastructure end to end: provisioning, CI/CD, deployments, service mesh, and day‑to‑day operations in a modern GCP environment.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and operate GKE clusters in production environments
Automate cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for Kubernetes‑based deployments
Implement and manage Istio service mesh for traffic management, security, and observability
Support containerized microservices at scale
Required Skills & Experience (Must‑Have)
- Strong hands‑on experience with GKE in production
- Experience working in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
- Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- CI/CD experience with Harness
- Strong GitHub workflow experience (PRs, branching, automation)
- Experience with Istio Service Mesh (traffic routing, mTLS, canary/blue‑green deployments)
- Deep understanding of containers and cloud‑native architectures
