Duties for Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

• Develop detailed and outline designs, as well as specifications for mechanical works.
• Providing technical input on a daily basis to contribute to the team of engineers and technicians.
• Ensure that the design output meets the agreed scope of work, as well as the budgets and timescales.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from other disciplines to meet project requirements and add value to the client.
• Attend design review meetings to monitor progress.

Qualifications/Experience for Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

• HNC/HND/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• Experience working within water or similar process–driven environment
• Contractual and commercial knowledge
• Eligible to work in the UK
• Chartered Engineer or working towards this (desirable)
