Student Placement – Functional Test Analyst

We’re offering a 12-month placement for a motivated Functional Test Analyst to join our team at WCCTV’s Rochdale HQ. You’ll gain hands‑on experience testing innovative surveillance software, with full training, a £26,500 salary, and great benefits.

Main Responsibilities

• Designing and executing tests from a functional specification
• Write, maintain and review test documentation
• Keep track of the issues with the development manager and re‑run tests when they have been fixed
• Validate, reproduce and document reported bugs
• Develop unit testing for existing products

Requirements

• Experience with C# and web programming
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office packages, e.g. Word, Excel
• Organisational skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt to change
• Energetic and enthusiastic, with the ability to communicate at all levels
