About the Role

We are looking for a proactive and highly organised Assistant Product Developer to join our clothing product team.

This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years’ experience in clothing product development, who brings a can-do attitude, strong attention to detail and a genuine interest in menswear product.

Working closely with the Product Manager and Product Director you will play a key role in supporting day-to-day product operations, with a strong focus on managing critical paths, tracking samples and working directly with suppliers to ensure deadlines are met.

This is an office-based role suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on and involved across the full product lifecycle.

What You’ll Be Doing

You will be central to keeping the department running smoothly — ensuring samples, approvals and production timelines stay on track.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Product team

• Take ownership of departmental critical paths, working closely with suppliers to maintain deadlines.

• Proactively chase samples, approvals and production milestones to ensure on-time delivery

• Receive, log and organise incoming samples, approvals and packages

• Track, label and store samples from concept through to production

• Maintain an organised sample library and studio area

• Manage samples for photoshoots, marketing and external partners

• Coordinate courier bookings and shipment of samples and materials

• Support in conducting QC checks and flag potential issues early

• Support fit sessions and record fit comments

About You

This role suits someone who thrives in a small-business environment, takes initiative and is comfortable juggling multiple priorities.

You will ideally have:

• 1–2 years’ experience required in a production buying, product development or production support role

• A positive, proactive and solutions-focused mindset

• Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail

• Confidence working directly with suppliers

• A genuine interest in product development and the full supply chain

• Experience managing samples, approvals and production timelines

• Good working knowledge of Excel/Google Sheets/Docs

• Working knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and InDesign an advantage

• A willingness to be hands-on in a fast-paced, office-based environment
