Job Description:

Pineapple Recruitment are seeking a visionary HR Director to join the Senior Leadership Team of a flourishing, large-scale organisation dedicated to community service and excellence. As a critical senior leader, you will be instrumental in delivering the strategic people agenda, ensuring that inclusivity and high performance are at the heart of the organisation’s vision.

Key Accountabilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Lead the development and delivery of a comprehensive People Strategy and the “People” strand of the Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (ED&I) agenda.
  • Growth & Integration: Provide expert HR leadership on due diligence and the smooth onboarding and integration of new regional sites.
  • Operational Oversight: Lead the HR and payroll teams to deliver a fully integrated, high-quality service across the organisation.
  • Change Management: Spearhead complex organisational change projects, including back-office transformation, TUPE transfers, and restructuring.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Act as the lead for consultations with trade unions and represent the organisation within regional professional forums.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Qualifications: Full CIPD qualification and/or a formal management degree, coupled with evidence of continuous professional development.
  • Experience: Proven track record of HR leadership within a large, complex organisation; experience in the public sector or education is highly desirable.
  • Expertise: Expert knowledge of UK employment law, HR best practice, and managing complex employee relations.
  • Attributes: A resilient leader with high emotional intelligence and the ability to influence and coach at the Board and Senior Leadership level.
