Job Description We are looking for a confident leader who can build strong working relationships with key stakeholders and act as the primary point of day-to-day liaison with the Client, ensuring the service consistently operates to the highest standards. The role requires a calm, organised and proactive approach to service management, performance monitoring and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities Lead, direct and support cleaning staff to ensure effective service delivery Act as the main day‑to‑day liaison with the client and key stakeholders, including Trust staff, patients and visitors Manage service performance against agreed targets and business plan objectives Plan, allocate and evaluate work, including rotas, annual leave and service demand Complete and maintain accurate records and documentation, including PMS, sickness, audits, training and performance Monitor sickness and absenteeism, ensuring HR policies and procedures are followed Manage incidents, complaints and investigations effectively and in line with procedures Participate in management meetings, performance reviews and continuous service improvement Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications Essential experience managing or supervising within a cleaning or housekeeping environment Strong knowledge of cleaning equipment usage and Health & Safety requirements Knowledge of National Cleaning Standards is beneficial Strong organisational, planning and numeracy skills Excellent communication skills with stakeholders at all levels Ability to respond quickly, remain calm under pressure and solve problems effectively Ability to work independently and use own initiative Commitment to professionalism, confidentiality, privacy and dignity at all times The Company ISS is a world-leading workplace and facility management company, connecting people and places to make the world work better.
