Environmental Health Officer / Food Safety Officer

My local authority clients around the UK are on the lookout for an interim Food Safety Officers.

The three roles I have now and upcoming around the UK for Food Safety Officers are below:

• South Coast Food Safety Officer | 6‑12 month contract
• London Food Safety Officer | 6‑12 month contract
• Hampshire Food Safety Officer | 6‑12 month

Duration – 6‑12 month Contracts

Start Date – ASAP

Rate – Up to £50 p/h DOE

Hours – 37 hours per week ideally

Hybrid Working – 2/3 days onsite

Experience required

• To conduct detailed inspections, interventions, and surveys at business and domestic premises, to determine standards.
• Carry out Category A – E premises inspections and enforcement.
• To produce reports and instigate actions in line with council policies, procedures and relevant guidance to secure improvements and ensure compliance with legal requirements, to safeguard public health, safety, and welfare.
• To provide prompt and courteous responses to complaints and other enquiries and ensure all relevant information is recorded in the computer database system, to aid performance management monitoring.
