Do you thrive in a role where your insights genuinely influence performance, efficiency, and value for money? If so, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

About the Role

We’re looking for an exceptional Finance Business Partner to join our Finance team and play a key role in supporting the organisation’s strategic objectives. In this highly impactful role, you’ll work closely with Heads of Service and operational teams—either within Repairs or across wider departmental functions—to deliver accurate financial information, insightful analysis, and forward looking guidance. Your work will directly support decision making that ensures financial sustainability and long term success.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Produce high quality management accounts with clear variance analysis along with quarterly forecasts and rolling budgets.
  • Maintain integrity of the general ledger, including reconciliations, corrections, and adjustments.
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with operational teams, providing financial training, advice, and challenge.
  • Create tailored financial reports and meet with budget holders to review performance, identify risks, and uncover opportunities for efficiencies.
  • Support the annual budget-setting cycle and coordinate SLT reviews.
  • Assist with year-end statutory accounts and external audit preparation.
  • Drive process improvements across reporting, forecasting, and budgeting.

What We’re Looking For

Fully qualified CIMA/CCAB, or part qualified with equivalent relevant experience, you will have a strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance management. You will have a proven track record of preparing management accounts, statutory accounts, forecasts, and financial reports. You will need to be able to prioritise tasks and have an organised and methodical approach to meet deadlines. You will be collaborative, proactive, and able to build strong relationships across departments, with a mindset focused on continuous improvement, efficiency, and value for money.
