About the Role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented, highly analytical FP&A Analyst to join our finance team. The FP&A Analyst will report principally to the CFO but will also work with the wider management team from time‑to‑time. The FP&A Analyst will be primarily responsible for assisting with financial forecasting, budgeting, and analysis to support strategic decision‑making across the business. The FP&A Analyst will also provide support with the production of management accounts and dashboards for clients. The ideal candidate will have strong financial modelling skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and excellent communication abilities.

This is a hybrid role. You will be expected to work from our London HQ, at least 3 days per week.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts and financial models.
  • Support the preparation of the business plan, with a specific focus on revenue projections.
  • Support the drafting of investor presentations and board packs.
  • Assist in the production of monthly management accounts.
  • Assist in the production of weekly accounting dashboards for large clients.
  • Analyse company data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyse the actual performance of deals compared to forecasts.
  • Support the production of pricing analysis for new products.
  • Prepare ad‑hoc financial analyses and reports as needed to support decision‑making.
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field. A master’s or advanced degree is a plus.
  • 1‑3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, investment banking, or a similar role.
  • Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel. Experience with accounting software such as Xero is a plus.
  • Knowledge of accounting principles and financial statement analysis.
  • Ability to collect, evaluate and interpret complex sets of data.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities.
