Senior Finance Analyst – Controllership (Hybrid, UK)

Overview

A senior finance role within a large, international media and technology organisation, focused on delivering high-quality accounting, reporting, and controllership services within a complex, fast-paced environment. The role plays a key part in maintaining a strong control framework while driving continuous improvement and automation.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage accounting and reporting for complex business areas with senior stakeholders.
• Maintain and critically assess a robust internal control environment.
• Act as first point of escalation for internal and external audit matters.
• Lead and deliver continuous improvement initiatives, including reporting automation and standardisation.
• Support Financial Controllers in delivering strategic finance objectives.
• Contribute to ad-hoc projects as required.

Experience & Skills

• Qualified accountant (CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
• Strong experience delivering month-end close within a General Ledger environment.
• Proven ability to drive process improvement and change initiatives.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail.
• Extensive experience using SAP or similar ERP systems.
• Confident communicator with the ability to operate effectively in large, matrixed organisations.
