QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER

£40,000 – £43,000

Birmingham

We are seeking an experienced and detail‑driven Quality Assurance Engineer to join our growing team in Birmingham. This role plays a vital part in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our luxury metal products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of craftsmanship and performance.

Commuter eligible from Birmingham, Sutton Coldfield, Walsall, Willenhall, Aston, Solihull, Moseley, Minworth, Tamworth, Stourbridge, Dudley, Aldridge, and Bournville.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Hands‑on inspection and testing of products to ensure compliance with specifications and quality standards
  • Monitor manufacturing processes using SOPs and implement corrective actions where required
  • Create, maintain, and update quality documentation, including inspection procedures and test plans
  • Conduct root‑cause analysis and develop corrective and preventative action plans
  • Work cross‑functionally to resolve quality issues and improve processes
  • Train team members on quality standards, procedures, and best practices

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR

  • Quality Assurance experience within a manufacturing industry sector
  • Previous experience of inspection and testing
  • Experience in root‑cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions
  • Strong problem‑solving skills
  • Knowledge of SAP would be useful but is not essential
  • Understanding of manufacturing processes
  • A strong desire to make a difference and motivation to create an impact
