Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for Fire & Security Engineers located in Dorset. The role involves the maintenance and servicing of fire and security systems, including CCTV, access control, and fire detection systems. Engineers will troubleshoot and resolve system issues, conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards, and provide technical support to clients. Additional responsibilities include collaborating with clients to deliver tailored solutions and ensuring all work aligns with industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of Security Engineering, including the installation and maintenance of security systems
- Experience in Network Security, Application Security, and Information Security practices
- Familiarity with Cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Proficiency in integrating and configuring advanced fire and security technologies
- Strong problem‑solving skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- An understanding of regulatory compliance standards; certifications in NSI or BAFE is an advantage
- Previous experience in servicing or installing systems within industries like healthcare, military, or commercial works is a plus
