Band 3 Hotel Services Administrator – Bristol
This role, based at our Blackberry Hill Hospital site works closely with our SFM hotel services team. We are looking for someone with an excellent administrative skillset, who is confident and able to work without direct daily supervision. The role needs someone who works well to deadlines and can be flexible in their approach to tasks. The team that they will be part of are spread across several different sites, but support each other really well. Therefore a team player is a must to continue the existing dynamic.
Main duties of the job
1. Completion of hours worked inclusive of annual leave and absence.
2. Completion of multiple spreadsheets to record and maintain information.
3. Raising of purchase orders for goods and services.
4. Collation of statistical data and general information as required.
5. Liaise with other internal and external services as appropriate.
6. Administrative support for staff record keeping.
7. Ad-hoc administrative support as requested.
8. Ensure that administrative colleagues and managers are kept informed of all information pertinent to the maintenance of the high standard of the service and standards of care.
9. Work within national, local and trust policies, procedures, guidelines and standards.
Job responsibilities
The role involves the regular use of bespoke IT systems and Microsoft software packages. The role requires someone who can work confidently with detailed information and has strong accuracy of input, is numerate and able to work to specific deadlines.
The role supports the housekeeping and catering department and will have day-to-day involvement with staff working in those areas.
