Responsibilities
- Responsible for identifying market developments relevant to Xoserve’s decarbonisation and strategic goals.
- Review Ofgem, DESNZ and other regulatory bodies consultations for those of relevance to Xoserve and allocate response to appropriate managers.
- Where necessary co‑ordinate and write first draft responses to consultations.
- Support industry‑facing initiatives to deliver against Xoserve strategy, including developing project plans, action logs and event tracking.
- Responsible for the contracts with information providers (currently Utility Week and Cornwall Insight) and ensuring that we obtain maximum value.
- Attend conferences and liaise with other stakeholders across the organisation to ensure information gained is reflected in our market insight.
- Work with other members of the Strategy and Development team to develop presentations and materials that clearly articulate Xoserve’s decarbonisation strategy and its role in the evolving gas market.
Qualifications
- A solid understanding of the complexities of the energy market.
- Proven experience working in a regulatory or consultancy role within the energy supply chain.
- Project management experience and proven ability to work to industry best practice standards within tight timescales.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and accessible manner.
