Join a highly skilled IT operations team where technical knowledge supports people leadership. We are seeking an experienced IT Depot Manager in person in Leeds to lead depot and asset operations across EMEA, delivering secure, compliant and cost‑effective device services that keep our team productive.

Purpose And Scope Of The Role

You will provide supervision, coordination and hands‑on leadership to the Depot and Asset teams, accountable for the end‑to‑end lifecycle of IT hardware: procurement, build, imaging, deployment, refresh, reallocation, tracking, refurbishment and disposal. Reporting to the Head of User Support, you will balance operational delivery with people leadership, financial control and governance while ensuring depot services meet corporate standards and data‑destruction regulations.

Your Impact In This Position

You will optimise stock and build processes to reduce costs and delivery times, mentor and grow technical teams, and act as the escalation point for depot incidents. Your work will directly improve device availability, compliance and end‑user satisfaction across multiple business units, and support cross‑region alignment with US IT and central stakeholders.

Core Capabilities

  • Depot operations & team leadership – Lead daily depot workflows, allocate workload, run effective team meetings, mentor staff and maintain high operational standards.
  • Asset & stock management – Forecast demand, manage replenishment, maintain accurate asset records, and oversee secure refurbishment and disposal.
  • Device build, imaging & configuration – Drive standard OS builds, image fleets using enterprise deployment tools, and support profile migration and software installation.
  • Software & build governance / end‑user support – Validate software for deployment, enforce licensing and security standards, resolve Level 1 application issues and ensure timely ticket resolution.
  • Financial, stakeholder & cross‑region collaboration – Manage budgets and POs within delegated authority, reconcile invoices, and coordinate with IT, Procurement, HR and Finance across EMEA and US.

Skills, Qualifications And Experience

Proven hardware troubleshooting, imaging/deployment skills, Active Directory and endpoint tools, Excel and Microsoft 365 proficiency, forecasting and budgeting experience and strong customer‑facing support.

This is an office based position in Leeds with full office attendance required.
