Mechanical Service Engineer
This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanically skilled professional to join a growing service team supporting industrial process and energy recovery facilities across the UK. The role focuses on maintenance, fault diagnosis and performance optimisation of mechanical plant equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of mechanical plant equipment and process systems
- Diagnose faults across pumps, mixers, motors, pipework and associated mechanical infrastructure
- Operate testing equipment and complete inspections to ensure optimal system performance
- Support commissioning activities and maintain accurate service and site documentation
- Identify opportunities to improve reliability, efficiency and operational performance across client sites
Candidate Requirements
- Level 3 qualification or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
- Minimum of three years experience in a mechanical service, maintenance or field engineering role
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide with occasional overnight stays
- Strong fault finding skills across mechanical equipment, pipework and process systems
- Good understanding of safe systems of work including RAMS, alongside solid communication and IT skills
What’s on Offer
- Salary in the region of £45,000 depending on experience, with overtime available
