James Andrews are proud to be partnering with an international manufacturing specialist that is now looking to appoint a Quality Inspector on a permanent basis. This will be a full-time position based on-site and in the Worcestershire region. The position comes with an attractive remuneration package and benefits, which includes an attendance and overtimes bonus schemes.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a quality conscious manufacturing environment and be familiar with quality management processes and procedures.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Conducting thorough inspections of components, products and processes to assess both their quality and compliance with the required specifications
- Enhancing existing quality control procedures
- Recording results and comparing to target figures
- Quarantining and investigating issues on out-of-spec products & problem solving
- Compiling weekly reports on key measures
- Analysing and setting target figures for product tolerances
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records
- Analysing data to establish better ways of working
- Collaborating across the business in addressing quality issues promptly and efficiently
- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality
Experience required:
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector in a quality conscious engineering environment
- Familiar with quality management processes and procedures
- Ability to analyse data and identify trends or patterns
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
Skills, knowledge and expertise required:
- PC skills and being familiar with Microsoft Office
- Ability to train and develop teams on quality processes across the business
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Working hours:
- 39 per week
- Full time on-site
