Fire & Security Installation Engineer
Location: North West & North East Coverage
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 (DOE) + Overtime + Training + Progression
Employment type: Permanent | 40 Hours (8am – 5pm)

The Role
You will be installing and commissioning fire and electronic security systems across a regional patch, working on a variety of commercial and public‑sector projects.
This is a hands‑on installation role where quality, attention to detail and professionalism are key.
Your day‑to‑day will include:
- Installation of fire alarm systems (addressable & conventional)
- Installing CCTV (IP & analogue), access control and intruder systems
- Working on emergency lighting systems
- Wiring, terminating and configuring systems
- Commissioning systems and completing handovers
- Producing accurate documentation including test results and reports
- Working from drawings and coordinating with site teams
- Fault finding and resolving issues where required
Travel & Hours
- 40 hours per week (8am – 5pm)
- First 30 minutes each way unpaid, rest paid
- Regional travel across the North West & North East
What You’ll Need
- Installation experience across fire & security systems
- Experience in at least three of the following: Fire Alarms, CCTV, Access Control, Intruder Alarms, Emergency Lighting
- Ability to work from drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and workmanship
- Electrical experience
- Full UK driving licence
Desirable
- FIA qualifications
- ECS/ CSCS / IPAF / PASMA
