Sales Opportunities (SDR & Business Development)
Location: Manchester (office-based), 7am-4pm Monday-Friday
About the Opportunity
We’re working with a fast-scaling technology business operating at the intersection of AI and machine learning.
They support organisations running complex workloads by delivering high-performance infrastructure and tailored solutions – enabling faster processing, improved efficiency, and scalable performance.
With growing demand in the market, they’re now building out their commercial team and hiring across multiple levels.
The Roles
They are hiring for two key positions within the sales team:
- A high-activity outbound role focused on generating qualified opportunities. You’ll be the first point of contact with potential customers — identifying challenges, opening conversations, and booking meetings that convert into revenue. This role offers clear progression into a closing position.
- Business Development Manager (BDM) – A full-cycle sales role where you’ll own deals from initial conversation through to close. You’ll run consultative sales processes, engage technical and commercial stakeholders, and position tailored solutions that solve real business problems. This is a non-transactional, solution-led sales environment.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Generating new business through outbound activity and self-sourced pipeline
- Engaging with businesses facing AI, infrastructure or compute-related challenges
- Running consultative conversations focused on outcomes and ROI
- Building and managing a consistent pipeline
- Collaborating with technical teams to deliver tailored solutions
- Converting opportunities into long-term customer relationships
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in outbound sales, SDR, or full-cycle B2B sales roles
- Strong communication skills — able to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Commercial mindset with an understanding of value and ROI
- Ability to sell solutions rather than products
- Driven, self-sufficient and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Interest in technology, AI or infrastructure markets
