We are seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join our Research & Innovation Team at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in advancing child health research and innovation across South Yorkshire and beyond.

About You
- Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- PRINCE2 Foundation certification or equivalent project management expertise.
- Strong interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration.
- In‑depth knowledge of SCYPHeR and related initiatives at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
- Excellent organisational and time‑management skills, with the ability to deliver high‑quality work under competing demands.
Main Duties of the Job
- Successfully manage and develop assigned projects relevant to the South Yorkshire Children and Young People Health Research (SCYPHeR) network.
- Contribute to the wider Research & Innovation agenda at Sheffield Children’s NHS Foundation Trust.
- Enable connections locally and across South Yorkshire and Bassetlaw, supporting change and building sustainable relationships.
- Drive collaboration in research and innovation to address the needs of children and young people in Sheffield and beyond.

Person Specification
Qualifications & Training
- Degree in a relevant subject or equivalent demonstrable experience.
- PRINCE2 Foundation training or equivalent project management experience.
Experience
- Experience of coordinating projects or project management in complex organisations.
- Experience of working with senior professionals at Board / Executive Directors / Senior Management level.
- Experience of working with CYP.
Knowledge and Skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to work accurately to high standards, particularly where competing demands exist.
- Ability to understand and manage resources and a budget.
- Competent user of Microsoft packages, including project management software.
- Ability to negotiate and resolve conflict.
- Ability to meet deadlines and prioritise work accordingly.
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to coordinate, prepare, and deliver presentations and papers.
- Skills in team‑based planning.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- In depth knowledge of the local research landscape including SCYPHeR and the R&I programmes at SHE.
