Senior Manager, Funds Tax, UK Locations

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for management of UK tax reporting delivered to client base.
• Manage the successful delivery of technically complex and demanding consulting projects for clients, ensuring technical excellence and a practical/business focus approach.
• Pursue business development opportunities identified by other service lines at EY.
• Provide development support to junior team members through effective supervision, coaching, and mentoring.
• Contribute to people initiatives, including retaining and training the team.
• Play a significant role in team management in terms of strategy and operations, and through managing junior staff development and assignments.

Qualifications

• ACA / Law qualification, Tax specialist qualification, or equivalent breadth of knowledge.
• Strong tax technical skills.
• Business development skills, able to identify and convert opportunities to sell work.
• Experience in coaching and developing junior staff.
• Knowledge of the taxation of partnerships.
• Project management skills: plan and prioritize work, meet deadlines, monitor own budget.
• Ability to solve problems creatively and pragmatically.
