3–6 Month Contract | Up to £40,000 DOE | Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm Pertemps Recruitment is working on behalf of one of our clients to recruit an experienced Payroll Manager for a temporary contract, initially for 3–6 months. This role is responsible for the accurate, timely, and confidential management of company payrolls and payroll bureaus, as well as overseeing remuneration and benefits.  Key Duties Manage end-to-end payroll processing, including pay, holiday, sick pay, overtime, and bonusesEnsure payrolls are processed in line with HMRC and statutory requirements, including BACS paymentsReconcile payroll journals, pensions, and ledger balances to strict deadlinesManage executive payrolls and Director emolumentsComplete year-end processes including P11Ds, tax year-end, and PSA schemesMaintain payroll and HR systems, ensuring accuracy and complianceResolve payroll queries and produce ad-hoc and regular management reportsSupport line managers and HR with pay structures and reporting  About You Proven payroll management experienceStrong knowledge of HMRC legislation and best practiceHighly organised with excellent attention to detailConfident working to tight deadlines in a temporary rolE The Details Salary: Up to £40,000 per annum (dependent on experience)Contract: Temporary (3–6 months initially)Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (1-hour lunch)Free onsite parkingIf you are interested, please APPLY now or for more information please contact Chelsea Goodman in the Pertemps Plymouth office….
