Head Pastry Chef
We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Pastry Chef to lead our pastry kitchen. This role requires a strong balance of creativity and operational excellence, ensuring the delivery of high-quality products while continuously elevating our dessert offerings.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage all daily operations of the pastry kitchen
- Develop innovative and visually appealing dessert menus aligned with the brand identity
- Ensure consistency in product quality, presentation, and recipes
- Manage cost control, inventory, and purchasing processes
- Maintain and enforce food safety and hygiene standards (HACCP)
- Train, mentor, and manage the pastry team to achieve high performance
- Plan production efficiently to meet operational demands
- Stay updated with global pastry trends and incorporate them into the menu
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations
- Drive guest satisfaction through creativity and attention to detail
Qualifications
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in pastry, preferably in a leadership role
- Strong portfolio showcasing creativity and product development skills
- Proven leadership and team management abilities
- Solid knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-standard environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
- Good command of English is preferred
