AI Content Strategy Manager – 6 month contract (opportunity to go perm)

Exclusive opportunity to join a global financial services organisation on an initial 6 month day rate contract (opportunity to go permanent), in a content strategy role focused on shaping and scaling owned content for AI-driven search and discovery.

The role sits within a central EMEA marketing function responsible for delivering high-impact client experiences and building brand awareness, consideration and preference across key European markets.

This position will lead the development of AI-ready content strategies, ensuring content is structured, credible and optimised to be surfaced and cited across AI-powered platforms and search environments.

Hybrid working – 4 days in office, 1 from home

£350/day – Inside IR35

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute content strategies aligned to AI-driven discovery, focused on high-quality, authoritative and answer-led content
  • Define and implement content standards including structure, formatting, schema and metadata to improve discoverability
  • Identify content gaps and opportunities to build authority across key financial topics
  • Create and optimise content across web, social and video to improve visibility and engagement
  • Collaborate with SEO, media, product and agency teams to align content priorities and performance
  • Monitor how content performs across AI and search, using insight to refine strategy
  • Build scalable frameworks to standardise content creation across teams and markets
  • Stay up to date with AI-driven discovery and content trends

Skills & Experience:

  • Strong content strategy and creation experience, with the ability to simplify complex topics
  • Understanding of SEO, GEO and digital discovery principles
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to assess performance and optimise output
  • Experience across multiple content formats including web, social and video
  • Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience in a fast-paced, matrixed and international environment
  • Strong interest in AI-powered search and emerging discovery platforms
  • Experience with tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs or similar
  • Ideally experience within financial services or another regulated environment
