Run tests, look for issues, document what you find, and work closely with developers and analysts to verify fixes. Your work is hands‑on, practical, and essential to maintaining a smooth release process.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases.
• Execute manual test cases and document results.
• Identify, record, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or similar.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and resolve issues.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and system testing.
• Participate in test planning, estimation, and status reporting.
• Ensure compliance with QA standards and best practices.

Qualification & Technical Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 1–2 years of professional testing experience or a strong foundation through internships, training, or project work.
• Experience working in Agile teams.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and QA processes.
• Experience with test case creation and execution.
• Familiarity with defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Mantis).
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
