A brand new position has arisen for a Senior Content / Social Digital Marketing Manager. You'll be an expert photographer / video content person who is super enthusiastic about travel.ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIESThe responsibilities of the Social Media Content Lead include:CONTENT CREATIONLeading the in-house team that deliver Content Shoot projects for Social Media clientsPhotography & Video production on locationDrone operation also desirable and/or training may be providedStrategy & planning for content shoots, including the creation of shoot briefs, itineraries, mood boards, etc. and co-ordination with client marketing teamsCreative direction to ensure content aligns with each client's brand identity and campaign objectivesPost-production and content editing to produce content assets ready for use on Social MediaRepurposing existing assets and optimising for use on Social Media channelsSupporting Online Advertising teams with the creation of advertising content assetsSOCIAL MEDIA MARKETINGWorking across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, Twitter, LinkedIn and TikTokCreating regular publishing plans for varied platforms and objectivesFiling and editing of multi-media contentScheduling and optimisation of all social contentPerformance review and benchmarkingKeeping abreast of social and industry trends, platform updates and new featuresCLIENT & TEAM MANAGEMENTLiaising with client marketing teams & hotel general managers to co-ordinate Social MediaManaging the in-house team responsible for Social Media content creationProviding creative direction and feedback on shoots and content outputsWork in collaboration with the agency's brand, creative and digital marketing teams to deliver a holistic service for clientsMentoring and supporting Social Media content team membersSupporting new business proposals and pitches when neededSKILLS & EXPERIENCEESSENTIALAt least 3 years' experience working in a digital/marketing agency environmentFirst-class multimedia content creation and editing skillsProfessional photography & video production experienceBest practice understanding and experience across social platformsExcellent inter-personal, communication and presentation skillsStrong organisational skills, with an aptitude for multi-tasking and managing prioritiesA keen visual eye, and a flair for crafting presentations
DESIRABLEDegree in Social Media and / or Digital MarketingDrone piloting experience, ideally with an associated training qualificationCopywriting skills that are sharp, memorable and make readers take actionDriving licenceA fluent second languageCULTUREPassion for travel / leisure industryA confident, proactive attitudeThe ability to think creatively in support of your clients' business objectivesLOCATIONThe role will be based at the Edinburgh head office.
