Our client has an opportunity for a Structural Design Engineer to join their Norwich office. You will become part of a talented group of structural engineering professionals.

You will work on a diverse range of new-build and refurbishment projects, including high-end private residential dwellings and large-scale mixed-use developments as well as projects in sectors such as office and commercial, education, arts, healthcare, life sciences and industry.

Responsibilities

• Support the team by undertaking design calculations, assisting with the delivery of design packages.
• Attendance at design team meetings and site visits, report writing, etc.
• Lead and run your own projects with ongoing support as you become embedded in the practice.
• Participate in accredited IStructE and/or ICE training programmes with tailored mentoring and coaching to progress towards CEng status.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience with good theoretical and practical knowledge of designing in the main structural building materials: concrete, steel, masonry and timber.
