Health & Safety Manager

Health & Safety Manager We are seeking an experienced and proactive Health & Safety Manager to lead HSEQ compliance across our operations and support the ongoing development of our Integrated Management System (IMS). This is a key role responsible for ensuring all projects – particularly within fast-paced fit-out environments – are delivered safely, compliantly, and in line with current legislation and best practice. Key Responsibilities Lead and implement the companys health, safety, environmental, and quality strategy Ensure compliance with all relevant UK/ROI legislation, including CDM Regulations Support project and site teams with expert H&S guidance across multiple live fit-out projects Prepare and review Construction Phase Plans (CPPs), RAMS, and project H&S documentation Ensure all H&S requirements are in place pre-construction and maintained throughout delivery Conduct site audits and inspections, ensuring corrective actions are closed out Manage incident reporting, including accidents, near misses, and trend analysis Deliver toolbox talks and drive effective safety communication across sites Promote a positive safety culture and continuous improvement Maintain ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 compliance, including audit coordination Produce monthly H&S performance reports for senior management Support H&S training programmes and maintain accurate training and competency records Skills & Competencies Strong knowledge of construction H&S legislation (UK/ROI) Excellent understanding of CDM Regulations Experience managing ISO management systems Strong auditing, reporting, and organisational skills Ability to influence site teams and drive compliance Analytical, proactive, and detail-oriented Excellent communication and presentation skills Experience & Qualifications NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent) Minimum 5 years experience in a Health & Safety role within a contractor, with strong experience in fit-out projects Proven experience managing H&S across multiple live sites Experience preparing CPPs and Safe Systems of Work Full driving licence Why Join Us?
