About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to join as our Executive Medical Director and be at the forefront of clinical transformation driving innovation and blueprint models of care. You will contribute to the visible leadership of the organisation, ensuring a strong focus on integrated neighbourhood care and a commitment to community and public health working with patients with complex lives ensuring the voice of lived experience is woven through and that every contact is patient‑centred, trauma informed and recovery‑oriented.
Responsibilities
- Lead clinical excellence and drive innovation in care models.
- Shape the future of services for vulnerable populations and lead system change.
- Collaborate with the executive team to support Spectrum’s strategic ambitions and business strategy.
- Ensure integrated neighbourhood care and patient‑centred, trauma‑informed, recovery‑oriented approaches.
- Attend weekly Executive meetings and monthly Board meetings.
Qualifications
- Significant experience in a senior clinical leadership role within the NHS, public health or third sector at Director or deputy Director level.
- Proven track record of strategic leadership in complex, multi‑disciplinary environments, including working across Health and Justice, Primary Care, Substance Misuse and/or sexual health services.
- Values‑driven leadership with the ability to inspire, motivate and establish positive relationships with people at all levels.
- A full and current GMC registration and evidence of achievement as a Medical Leader, with experience in quality assurance, patient safety and risk management systems.
