Are you a safety-driven professional with a strong electrical background and utilities site experience?
We’re working with a leading infrastructure contractor to recruit an experienced SHE Advisors for a long-term contract based in South West England.
Contract Length: 6 month rolling contract (Opportunity to become a permanent role)
About the Role:
As a SHE Advisor, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring safety, health, and environmental compliance across active utilities and electrical construction sites. Your responsibilities will include:
- Conducting regular site inspections and audits
- Supporting incident investigations and reporting
- Promoting a proactive safety culture across teams
- Ensuring compliance with company and legal SHE standards
- Delivering toolbox talks and safety briefings
- Collaborating with site managers and operatives to improve SHE performance
What We’re Looking For:
- Must have experience working on utilities sites (e.g. power, water, gas, telecoms)
- Strong electrical background – ideally within infrastructure or construction projects
- Proven track record in a SHE role within the construction or utilities sector
- In-depth knowledge of UK HSE legislation and best practices
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
