Health and Safety Manager

Salary: £50,000 – £60,000
Health and Safety Manager required by a growing provider of technical services to work between sites in Blackburn and Castleford and also on site with clients. The successful Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for driving high standards, ensuring compliance, and strengthening safety culture across engineering and project delivery teams.
Main Duties
- Provide health and safety leadership across multiple sites.
- Write risk assessments and method statements and approve construction phase plans.
- Conduct site audits and oversee corrective actions.
- Lead incident response, investigations, root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Maintain policies and procedures to ensure compliance with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001.
- Deliver health and safety inductions and training.
- Support internal audits to maintain ISO 9001 compliance.
Qualifications
- NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
- Previous experience of auditing to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.
- Background in a similar role, ideally gained in construction, facilities management or engineering environments across multiple sites.
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence and drive change.
- Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel as required by the business.
