This is not a desk-based account management role. You’ll be out building relationships with contractors, winning work, and becoming a trusted partner on-site.

You’ll work closely with operations, drivers, and the wider team to deliver a seamless service to customers -we don’t work in silos here.
The Role
You’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of accounts while actively developing new business opportunities across your territory.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage and develop relationships with contractors, groundworkers, and construction clients
- Identify and win new business opportunities within your region
- Prepare quotations and negotiate commercial terms
- Attend site visits and client meetings
- Work closely with operations to ensure smooth delivery of jobs
- Maintain CRM records and manage your sales pipeline
- Act as the key point of contact for your customers
About You
We’re looking for someone commercially driven, relationship-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment.
You’ll likely have experience in:
- Construction sales / plant hire / concrete / aggregates / builders’ merchants
- Account management or business development
- Working with contractors, civils, or RC frame companies
You’ll also be:
- A strong communicator and relationship builder
- Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
- Comfortable working independently and managing your own territory
- Commercially aware with strong negotiation skills
- Based within a commutable distance to High Wycombe
