My Client, an impressive Corporate & Debt Finance Advisory business, seeks a Director level Real Estate professional with strong origination skills, allied with well developed technical capabilities, to join their Debt Advisory team in London.
The role will involve the origination of new real estate debt advisory mandates. The successful candidate will have experience advising clients on a wide range of capital and debt funding solutions and will be responsible for the ongoing management of these client relationships, in addition to building and maintaining relationships across the lender universe. The Director will lead the deal team and be responsible for managing and developing junior colleagues within the team.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
8+ years’ experience in corporate finance across debt advisory or lending, with a sector focus on real estate finance. Exposure to the Living and Social Housing markets would be a distinct advantage.
Proven transaction track record and established client relationships across real estate sponsors, regulated utilities and developers. This is an origination-focused role, requiring a high-energy, self-starting individual with a passion for being externally focused, building new client relationships, and growing the business in line with an agreed business plan.
Demonstrated track record of leading transactions and deal teams across a variety of complex debt and capital structures end-to-end, including project financings, portfolio financings, and holdco / fund-level financings.
The successful candidate must enjoy acting as deal captain, leading junior colleagues, and delivering best-in-class advice to clients.
