Azure Data Engineer

Data Engineer – Azure, ADF, Databricks, SQL – FinTech, London

Responsibilities

You will operate as part of an agile technical team, participating in all agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑up meetings and backlog refinement sessions. The team, which prides itself on technical professionalism, is focused on building a new lake‑house to ingest massive amounts of data from the existing data lake.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2‑5 years of data experience
• Experience with SparkSQL and PySpark
• Strong communication skills, able to engage with a wide range of stakeholders
• Data warehousing, ETL/ELT and data integration experience
• Experience with Azure DevOps code‑management practices (repos, gitflow, pull requests, release pipelines)
• Python experience desirable

Working Arrangements
