Senior Architectural Technician (Revit) – Lancashire / Cumbria / North West
Full Time, 40 hours per week, £35,000–£45,000 per annum (DOE). Our client delivers beautifully designed, bespoke buildings across Lancashire, Cumbria, and the North West.
They operate through specialist teams that collaborate seamlessly to provide a full concept‑to‑completion service.
We are looking for a Senior CAD Technician with strong Revit skills to join a friendly, dynamic, and ambitious team.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a diverse mix of residential projects, including modular, timber frame, and system‑built homes, within a close‑knit, collaborative environment.

Are you the right person for the job?
- 3–4 years of strong experience using Revit, with solid AutoCAD skills. SketchUp is a bonus, but not essential.
- Proven experience in architectural, engineering, modular building, or manufacturing design.
- Excellent understanding of traditional and modern construction methods, materials, and off‑site manufacturing processes.
- Experience in residential, timber frame, modular, steel frame, or related sectors preferred.
- Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Friendly, team‑oriented, and proactive with a problem‑solving mindset.
- Able to travel to a rural location; a driving licence is essential. Candidates should be within a 45‑minute commute from Mawdesley (including Preston, Manchester, Liverpool, North Preston areas).
What will your role look like?
- Produce coordinated 3‑D Revit models and high‑quality AutoCAD technical drawings.
- Develop detailed production and construction‑ready drawings.
- Generate material take‑offs, component schedules, and BIM‑related documentation.
- Work collaboratively across architecture, engineering, manufacturing, and design teams.
- Lead and manage aspects of the technical design process from concept to delivery.
- Liaise with specialist suppliers and manufacturers, providing technical guidance.
