Class 2 Skip DriverPertemps Stoke are currently recruiting a Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Skip Driver to work out of their client based in Stoke on Trent.For this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Skip Driver role, you will be responsible for:Delivering and collecting skips across Stoke-on-Trent and surrounding areasCarrying out skip exchanges (removing full skips and replacing with empty ones)Operating a Class 2 skip wagon (skip loader / hook loader) safely and efficientlyNavigating tight residential streets, building sites, and commercial premisesCompleting daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with health & safety regulationsProviding excellent customer service when dealing with customers on-siteReturning skips to the yard for unloading and recyclingFor this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Skip Driver role, you will need:Valid Class 2 (Category C) licenceCPC and Digital Tachograph cardPrevious experience driving skip wagons – Minimum 1 year experienceGood communication and customer service skillsWorking Hours & Pay of this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Skip Driver role:Monday to Friday07:00 – 17:00£14.50 per hourOngoing work with the opportunity to go permanent after 12 weeksWhat you’ll get with this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Skip Driver role:Full-time, stable hoursOpportunity for a permanent roleLocal work – no nights outSupportive team environmentIf you are interested in this Class 2 / HGV 2 / LGV 2 Skip Driver role, please click apply….
