AML Compliance Manager Central London Hybrid
We’re working with a highly regarded West End law firm in London that is looking to hire a Compliance Manager to join their growing Risk & Compliance function.
This is a genuinely exciting opportunity to take on a broad, high-impact role combining internal compliance oversight with client-facing AML advisory work. The firm has a strong reputation in the market and offers a collaborative, forward-thinking environment.
The Role?This role will suit an experienced compliance professional who is confident operating in a regulated legal environment and enjoys both hands-on internal work and advising clients on AML frameworks and best practice. A key focus for this hire is experience dealing directly with the SRA on AML matters — this is essential.
- Support and enhance AML policies, procedures, and compliance frameworks
- Act as a go-to advisor on AML and regulatory queries across the firm
- Conduct risk assessments, file reviews, and internal audits
- Support SAR processes and regulatory reporting
- Deliver AML and compliance training
About you?
- Proven compliance experience within a law firm or regulated environment
- Strong working knowledge of UK AML regulations
- Direct experience engaging with the SRA, particularly on AML matters
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and advise stakeholders
- Commercial and pragmatic approach to risk and compliance
