I’m working with a well‑established, family‑run manufacturer in the roofing and steel reinforcement sector who are looking to appoint a Sales & Operations Manager to support their next phase of growth. This is a hands‑on role where you’ll be responsible for both driving sales performance and ensuring the day‑to‑day operation runs smoothly. You’ll be working closely with the directors and will play a key part in how the business moves forward.
Responsibilities
- Managing and developing the sales function, driving revenue from both new and existing customers
- Overseeing daily operations to ensure everything runs efficiently
- Handling quotations and customer orders, ensuring accuracy and turnaround times are met
- Acting as the link between sales and production to improve overall performance
- Managing internal systems and ensuring data is kept up to date
- Supporting compliance with industry accreditations
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships
Qualifications
- Experience in a sales, operations or commercial role
- Ideally from construction, building materials or manufacturing
- Strong organisation and attention to detail
- Good communicator with a customer‑focused approach
- Someone who is proactive, hands‑on and comfortable in a busy environment
- Confident using systems (Excel and general CRM/ERP type systems)
- Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
