Senior Process Safety Engineer

Role: Senior Process Safety Engineer

Location: Remote (UK) with occasional travel

Type: Permanent

SRG are supporting a leading manufacturing organisation in the process industries with the hire of a Senior Process Safety Engineer. In this role, you will help strengthen process safety performance across active sites and ongoing projects.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitate Process Hazard Analyses such as PHA, HAZOP, LOPA
• Support Functional Safety activities (SIS/SIF) within engineering projects
• Assist in the development and improvement of process safety procedures
• Deliver training on process safety methodologies
• Contribute to incident investigations and internal audit programs

Criteria:

• BEng Chemical Engineering or related discipline
• Functional Safety qualification (CFSE, TUV FS Eng or equivalent)
• Experience with SIL assessments and risk identification methods
• Experience facilitating PHA/HAZOP studies
• Knowledge of Area Classification, Alarm Management, and Human Factors
