The Associate Director will play a key part in securing new work, leading major projects and developing the team.
The Role
This is a senior leadership appointment with significant responsibility.
- Leading complex residential and mixed-use planning strategies
- Managing major client relationships and acting as trusted advisor
- Driving business development and generating new instructions
- Supporting Directors in strategic growth planning for the region
- Leading and developing a team of planners, including mentoring and performance management
- Financial oversight of projects, ensuring profitability and strong fee management
- Representing clients at Local Plan examinations, hearings and inquiries
- Supporting recruitment and team expansion plans

- Proven experience leading major planning projects
- Strong commercial awareness with fee and budget management experience
- Confident leader with experience managing staff and workloads
- Strong regional network across the South Coast development market
