Introduction
Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Credit Controller for a well-established and growing construction business in Cwmbran. This is an exciting opportunity to join a supportive finance team and take ownership of your own ledger while helping maintain healthy cash flow across a varied range of UK customers.
Key Duties
- Proactively contact customer accounts to collect outstanding debt.
- Perform account reconciliations to ensure ledger accuracy.
- Manage disputes efficiently and professionally through to resolution.
- Monitor and prioritise workload to meet collection targets.
- Use MS Office, particularly Excel, to maintain accurate records.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a credit control role.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel.
- Ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively.
- Collaborative, team-player mindset.
- Experience with construction industry accounts is advantageous but not essential.
