We are currently recruiting for an experienced Electrically Biased Maintenance Engineer to join a leading manufacturing business based in the Burnley area. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly automated, well-invested, and well-maintained site that places strong emphasis on engineering standards and continuous improvement.
The Role:
As part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for maintaining and improving a range of automated production equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out planned and reactive maintenance on automated machinery
- Diagnose and fault-find on electrical systems, including PLCs
- Support continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
- Work collaboratively with production to maximise equipment performance
- Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards
About You:
- Electrically qualified (NVQ Level 3, HNC, or equivalent)
- Strong fault-finding xwzovoh skills on electrical systems and controls
- Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of PLCs (fault finding preferred)
- Proactive, team-oriented, and committed to high engineering standards
