Healthcare Regulatory / Fitness to Practice Solicitor – London – Up to £90,000

An outstanding opportunity has arisen to join a top-tier, Legal 500 recognised law firm known for its specialist expertise across the healthcare and regulatory sectors.

The firm’s expanding Healthcare Regulatory team advises a broad range of clients including healthcare professionals, private care providers, NHS organisations and NHS Resolution on complex and high-profile regulatory matters.

This role offers the opportunity to work on Fitness to Practice proceedings, regulatory investigations and disciplinary matters, with regular exposure to advocacy and strategic advisory work within a highly respected team.

The Role

  • Manage a varied caseload of healthcare regulatory matters, including Fitness to Practice proceedings
  • Advise and represent healthcare professionals and organisations facing regulatory investigations
  • Act on matters involving NHSE and CQC investigations
  • Conduct advocacy in hearings and tribunals where appropriate
  • Provide practical, commercially focused advice to clients in sensitive regulatory matters
  • Build strong relationships with clients and deliver a high standard of service
  • Support the development of junior team members and trainees
  • Contribute to internal training and wider business development initiatives

About You

  • A qualified solicitor with 2–8 years’ PQE
  • Experienced in healthcare regulatory law, particularly Fitness to Practice matters
  • A confident advocate with experience in hearings or tribunals
  • Comfortable managing both routine and complex regulatory cases
  • Highly organised with strong technical and drafting skills
  • Commercially aware and able to provide clear, pragmatic advice
  • A collaborative team player with a strong focus on client service
