HW Finance is a relationship-led finance recruitment business, built on honest advice, deep expertise and long-term partnerships.
Launched in 2024, we’ve grown from 4 to 12 heads in our first 12 months and are now one of the highest performing divisions within The HW Group.
We operate across permanent, interim and contract markets, partnering with PLCs, private equity-backed businesses, high growth organisations and professional services firms.

The opportunity
HW Finance is growing quickly, and we’re looking to bring in experienced Consultants across our core markets.
Whether your background is in part-qualified/qualified finance, interim, tax, audit, risk, compliance or senior finance (FD/CFO), we’d be interested in speaking.
This is a chance to join early and play a meaningful role in shaping a high-growth business. You will have the autonomy to build your market properly, with the backing of an established group, strong brand and experienced leadership team.
Depending on your level, the role can include:
- Full 360 ownership of your market
- Building long-term client relationships and repeat business
- Developing a specialist vertical across your chosen area
- Winning and delivering retained and exclusive work
- Contributing to events, roundtables and community engagement
- Mentoring and supporting more junior consultants as you progress
We operate in a genuinely consultative way, working closely with senior stakeholders and decision makers.

What we’re looking for
We’re open on background, but typically you will:
- Have experience in recruitment (finance or another vertical)
- Be commercially driven and motivated by performance
- Care about quality, reputation and doing things properly
- Enjoy autonomy, while still working collaboratively
- 25 days holiday + birthday off + Christmas closure (+3 days leave p/a)
